Because brunch isn’t just for parents! Kids can have their brunch date while you have yours, parents! (& they’ll be getting bite-sized nutrition & mindfulness lessons to bring home to boot!).

Join me as I guide kids ages 4-10 through a fun and interactive yoga class followed by a brunch kids will have a hand in creating! I have seen how mindful movement &eating benefits kids first hand as a mom of 2 toddlers! I’ll be bringing that experiences as well as my experience as a local yoga teacher & psychologist specializing in mindful eating + play therapy + nutrition psychology to the mat & plate this weekend for your family!

All food will be provided by SPUD, a local organization that delivers food to the doorsteps of parents in the Calgary area! #parenthack

We’ll be making food art, allowing kids who are naturally curious about food to tap into their senses and make beautiful mason jar food art for brunch. The food art in a jar will feature whole food ingredients to nourish children’s developing brains and bodies! From chia seed pudding naturally coloured with beet juice or hemp powder, to fresh fruit, to overnight oats. Together we’ll do a mindful eating meditation that the children will be encouraged to bring home to their family meal time!

Yoga and brunch offers kids the possibilities to play together, exchange wisdom, share good times, &plant the seed of mindful living — from the mat to the plate!
