Running. The world’s most basic sport that doesn’t require any equipment, but for which we have a plethora of tech gear. We’re gonna strip the practice down to the bare essentials with this online program PLUS run event in downtown Calgary!
Barefoot running, also called “natural running”, is the act of running without footwear. This activity will be guided with mindfulness; it takes practice, tapping into the senses, curiosity, self-awareness, and moving beyond judgement and criticism. Jason Tillsley and Sally Powis-Campbell, athletes and mindfulness/mindful movement experts, will guide you in the practices. We’ve partnered with lululemon YYC and other local businesses. You’ll also get sweet swag bags to boot(less)!
Participants will receive a mindful walking/running training program eBook in the weeks leading up to the event co-hosted by Lululemon Calgary.
